Eh, Hoyer is so very blah. I think at his best, he's probably as good as Cassel, I don't really see him being much better than that. However, his floor was pretty freaking horrible last year. Sure Cleveland didn't have a lot on O but he was worse with Gordon and Cameron than he was without them. His throws and everything were just trash the last few months. Plus Hoyer is going to require a 3-4 year deal probably, Rex is just looking for a stopgap for a year.

If Hoyer is blah, then what the hell is Cassel?
Gordon was a huge liability when he came back. Wrong routes, missed assignments, etc...that can hang a guy with limited tools out to dry. The Falcons game was a pretty good indicator of it...and other than Gordon, he had nada.
It isn't really important...just splitting hairs.

McCoy doesn't have many years left in the tank, but you're talking about a guy who just in 2013 was the best running back in the NFL. And you're listing a center above him? I will admit last year Maclin was better than McCoy, but I don't think that's gonna be a long term thing. Maclinis very well likely to be hurt again.
