Dallas still doesn't have anyone to replace Romo when he goes down hurt (and he's already on his last leg). The Giants will probably improve in the short term, but also have an older QB and made laughable decisions in the offseason. The Redskins are in good shape just by being competent over the past couple years.
but the cowboys are better team if Romo can play 13+ games.
and i'm very far from convinced Cousins is a good QB.

The NFC East really is a train wreck/dumpster fire. I think pretty much anyone has a chance to win it if they can just get/stay fairly healthy. The Skins are the reigning champs so I think it's only right to favor them going in, but with that said I don't think they'll win it, nobody repeats anymore though they have as good a chance as anyone. Cousins played well last season, I think mainly because he stayed within himself and within the offense, rather than being a "gunslinger". As long as he stays within his limits like he did last season I think he'll do just fine. What happens though if/when that defense doesn't play as well as they did last season and he has to push the envelope a little more? Who knows but I think they're going to miss Knighton, Gilesy, why did they just let him walk? I thought he did a good job last season?

Romo is 36 though and continues to get hurt. He on the downside of his career.

I don't know that the Cowboys are better, particularly not on defense.

Mariota was 23rd in DYAR, 28th in DVOA last year for QBs. He is a rookie though,so he could make a jump this year. I didn't like him out or Oregon because of his accuracy and tendencey to take sacks/fumble.

Knighton was bad for us. I had a lot of hope for him, but he just didn't play well last year. I would expect the defense to play better than it did last year; we had injuries all across the board on defense. We missed probably the 2 best defensive players for most of the year, Galette and Culliver. I think they will attack the draft with defensive players. Defense should improve; the pass rush with Kerrigan, Galette, and Smith should be pretty tough. Getting Culliver back would be great. Safety play was terrible last year (improved when Hall moved to FS) and it looks like we are going with Hall and Bruton, which should be an upgrade. The loss of Hatcher could be felt, but I think they draft DL early and the draft is loaded at DL. Getting Paea back should help.

Oh, you didn't like his 68% completion rate over a 3-year average out of Oregon? That's understandable, if you're an idiot.

A lot of people questioned his accuracy. The offense Oregon ran made it next to impossible not to have a high completion percentage. What you are doing is the very nature of box score scouting.

Cmon man, that really isn't a good argument. Look at the offense he ran at Oregon. Virtually all scouting reports talk about how often he threw screens or to wide open guys. You can't look at college completion percentage and call someone accurate. I mean Vernon Adams completed like 65% this year.

You can't call him inaccurate either, so what the **** are you saying, exactly? I guess you didn't like his 63% completion rate in his first NFL season either.

They questioned whether or not he would be as accurate at the NFL level, not whether he was accurate in college.

He also played behind a **** OL with no great WR options. And despite playing in just 12 games (he was knocked out early in 2 other games as well), had 19 passing TDs and a 62.2 completion percentage.

There are certainly areas that MM needs to improve. But he just had a better rookie season than the majority of rookie QBs over the last 10 years.

Eagles sending a haul to Cleveland to move up for Wentz looks like. Makes the Bradford deal look even worse.

And the validity of that stat just went out the window.

Yeah to me too, but an FCS qb would need to sit a year so ? Bradford may still appeal to someone next season though .

Wait, am I supposed to believe Kaep was better than Luck and Mariota last year?

Because it rejects your argument? 6.27 NY/A is not good. And remember as well, not all passes are created equal. If Ryan makesa 5 yard pass for a TD and Mariota makes a 17 yard pass on 3rd and 25 they're not equal.

Suspensions for both Randy Gregory and DeMarcus Lawrence. Do they draft DE now?
