However, how are the chargers being dumb? I'm not sure what's happening. But if they offered him what they say they did, what's wrong with that?

The Chargers are demanding offset language, which allows them to recoup monies owed to Bosa if he were released and signed by another team, and partial deferment of the signing bonus into next year. The Bosa camp is agreeable to one or the other, but not both.
For instance, none of the 12 players selected with the second, third or fourth picks in the 2012-15 drafts agreed to deals that included offsets and deferments. However, this year, the picks immediately before and after Bosa -- Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz at No. 2, and running back Ezekiel Elliott at No. 4 -- signed deals with both provisions. Not surprisingly, the Chargers are arguing that Bosa's contract should feature that same framework.
Basically top 5 picks never agreed to the offst langue until this year when Wentz and Elliot both did. (dumb agents?)

Since 2012, no 3rd overall pick has had offset language. Bosa basically wants a similar contract to what top 5 picks always get. They might be the worst organization in the NFL. Google what they are doing with the stadium. Same team that fined Eric Weddle for watching his daughter do the half time show (and didn't allow him on the flight after the last game).
Bosa isn't even asking for more money than what they are going to end up getting him. To me, the Chargers are being petty. The most the Chargers probably save is $750k 4 years down the road by having the ofset language. (in the very unlikely event that he gets cut) I hope they lose him over the issue. He's even been willing to compromise and accept either the delayed signing bonus or the offset, but not both.

Bosa is a moron and will be a disappointment like his dad was.
His career was shortened due to knee injuries.

Romo exits after three plays. Will not return with an apparent back injury. Said he felt his back twist and wanted to go back in, but coach wouldn't allow it.
The Ryan Shanahan program looks to be awful again this year.
Ivermectin Man
He's been an OC for 8 years now and done remarkable things in Houston and Washington. Even in Cleveland, they resembled a half way decent offense, if I remember right. I guess Ryan was a little worse in 15 than he was 13, but his 2015 and 2013 seasons are pretty much equal.

Didn't Matt Ryan have some pretty good stats last season? I know there are ways to look at a QB and decide if they are good or not and stats is not the end all be all.
Romo out 6-10 weeks with fractured vertebrae i believe.
