over a month later and its still hard not to be bitter that Brees and the Saints beat the Tampa Brady's 2 out of 3 yet everyone is falling over themselves to talk about how amazing Brady is. Pretty sure Brees has a 6-3 lifetime record vs Brady and two of those wins are the most lopsided defeats of Brady's career. I hear Brady's final contract compensation for the year after winning the SB with all his incentives was 28.3 million. So atleast theres that.

Brees retirement official.
Have to imagine that GrampTom will stick around another year as his team carries him to the 1 seed with NO in cap hell, Atlanta in cap hell, Carolina not showing much sign of being top notch, should be easy for him to ride his current team to at worst NFC championship.

You say that but there is no chance that TB defense does what it did without Brady playing QB. I dont know exactly what it is but Brady is the greatest defensive player to ever exist in any sport.

Bucs defense is stacked.
What Brady brings is pace. He knows how to move the ball slowly and effectively. Add in a talented running game with young backs with fresh legs.
There is one area the bucs dramatically improved between the 2 years that Brady had an effect on, Penatlies. In 2019 Bucs committed 133 penalties for 1111 yards and their opponents committed 111 971 and in 2020 they committed 84 Penalties for 715 yards while opponents committed 94 for 1015.
But being real if you want to compare the biggest differences between 2020 and 2019 it's turnovers. Bucs went from worst in the league in picks to average. In 2019 and 2020 the defensive ranks aren't that different.
Brady deserves credit, but there's probably dozen QBs who win that Superbowl with that team. Brady helped, but he wasn't the top dog. And the team isn't built to last, some of their best defensive players are getting older. Who knows how much gas Suh, Gholston, Barrett, etc. have.

Too bad they couldn't wait for April 1st to do that one.

So how long is Deshaun Watson going to get suspended?
He should not get suspended at all. It boggles my mind how people who actively tried to prevent CTE research from getting to the public can be arbiter of moral justice in the NFL. So let me ask a different question. Will Watson get suspended for longer than players who killed people.

Meh. Just because they failed in one area doesn't mean they can't do good in another. That being said. The NFL needs to be consistent here and a minimum of 6 games per allegation since that's what they did to Zeke. So a 72 game suspension seems about right for Watson right now. Could go up.
I would still take him on my team any day if the week. First thing a team that trades for him is going to do is fire all the female massagers.

Kevin James is going to play Sean Payton in a Netflix movie about him coaching his 6th grade son's football team while suspended in 2012.

The Patriots being last on the list for drinking has to be a mistake. There's no way anyone has been to any sporting even in "Baah-stin" without experiencing waves of the stereotypical drunk Boston fan. I know Foxboro isn't technically Boston, but it might as well be.
