I don't think the Packers injuries make a ton of difference anyway. They weren't even close to being able to cover anyone. Bell is the best player in the game by far and New England gets a pass to the SB. Just pathetic/

I've been a Falcons fan through thick and thin and have had more than my fair share of thin. So I'm savoring this. I didn't think this team would win 6 games after dropping the opener to Tampa Bay. I'm glad to say I was wrong.

Not to mention Claiborne, one of the few vets on that defense and a productive player.

No team gets this far uninjured.

Big difference from losing someone months ago to losing the best player in the league after one quarter.

Not sure it really would've made much of a difference.

    This is an ass beating.

Yeah. But people will forget the Falcons missing a virtual All-Pro in Trufant because the Packers had a banged up Nelson who still played (even if Julio was also banged up) Or the Falcons had almost as many players out/on IR.

But whatever, don't mind me, I'm just talking facts.

Good, rather be the underdog. Fits the current team's personality

A championship against Bellichek would be so sweet. Ryan\Brady is a solid matchup right now. Ryan has been LOCKED in.

This surprises me a little with how hot the Falcons are right now. As McCarthy said last night, the Falcons are a buzzsaw. Still, I like that Atlanta's the underdog. It will help this team stay focused.

The Falcons will be playing second fiddle to the Pats in the national media and that's OK with me.

The whole thing about Atlanta being primarily a college football town is an old, well worn argument. The thing that really got me though was the patronizing tone and the way the guy seemed to act like victory was a foregone conclusion. It's like this guy thinks it's beneath the Patriot's dignity to play the Falcons. I would have expected a bit more respect considering what Atlanta did to Green Bay yesterday.

Also, I gotta say it's probably not the best idea to use the Hawks as the measuring stick for Atlanta's enthusiasm for professional sports.
