I get the sense that the Payton and Brees era in New Orleans is about to come to an end. I bet we have a top 5 defense next year.

Jaguars, 49ers, Bills, Chargers, and Broncos all have vacancies at the moment.
John Fox could be out as well. Bowles seems safe. Marvin Lewis plans on coming back, but honestly the decision shouldn't be his. He's allows his thug players to continue to behave like little gangsters on the field.
Looking ahead to the NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns are on the clock. Here's the top 20 selections:
1. Browns
2. 49ers
3. Bears
4. Jaguars
5. Titans (via Rams)
6. Jets
7. Chargers
8. Panthers
9. Bengals
10. Bills
11. Saints
12. Browns (via Eagles)
13. Cardinals
14. Colts*
15. Eagles (via Vikings)*
16. Ravens
17. Redskins
18. Titans
19. Buccaneers
20. Broncos

So after 17 Weeks, Ryan leads all QBs in DYAR, DVOA and Total QBR.
If he doesn't win MVP, I'm gonna riot.

I would be surprised if he does win. It's still largely a high school popularity contest. He most likely finishes behind Rodgers and Brady in the voting. Ryan won't ever be viewed like he deserves to be without winning a ring. Just the reality of NFL people these days.
Has to be Rodgers. Pretty much had zero running game all season and there was a stretch when his defense was not doing anything positive. Rpdgers had a great season.
Yes, they can and probably will. I've never seen a bigger mental midget than Kirk Cousins. When the going is good and he's playing an average defense, he lights them up. When he gets any type of pressure (whether it be big game or defensive pressure, or he throws an early pick), he shrinks into crap.
They played a team with nothing to play for at home and he can't hit wide open after wide open WRs. Then throws a pick with plenty of time on the clock and the team a few yards away from field goal range.
I'm fine bringing him back at a reasonable deal for a QB (20 mil) because it is way too difficult to find a competent QB in the NFL, but if he's signed long term, there better be an out after 2-3 years. He will never win the playoffs; he just doesn't have it in him. If some team wants to give us 2 first round picks for him, I'd be really interested in accepting it.

I expect the Titans to be really good next year, and the Jags could be too. They have a lot of talent down there, they just need the right coach and a couple more pieces to be pretty decent. The Browns should improve too. I like their HC but they have a LOT of holes to fill, way more IMO than the Jags or the Titans. Just my opinion though.
His receivers couldn't get open against this team with nothing to play for. His running game was invisible again. His defense is terrible and allowed a bad offense to make plays. The first interception wasn't his fault. The wideout slipped.
The defense gave up 13 points. The WRs were open all day long. Missed wide open Djax twice. Didn't even look Crowders way twice when he didn't have anyone covering him. Threw an inexcusable INT on the last possession.
They have one of the best WR cores in the NFL, really good OL, great TE, and a running game that averaged 4.5 ypc.

Sure he didn't see Crowder, but you can't pin everything that's wrong with the Redskins on Cousins. The interception was vintage Kirk Cousins getting rattled and trying to do too much. Something he did a lot of at MSU. What about the secondary that got burned on the go ahead field goal drive late in the game? Norman is so overrated too.

As you can see, this year, the AFC south was the weakest division in terms of efficiency. Other stats confirm their mediocre at best teams as well.
