Couple of things:
Swisher is garbage, has been garbage, always will be garbage and shouldn't be near the Braves.

They'll spend the money. He's garbage but if it's CJ for Swisher then the whole point is to get out of CJ's 2017 year.

I actually like this. Swisher sucks, but he's a corner OF and we need ones. If he's worthless, then he's only owed $15 million next year and then we're off the hook. He has a vesting options for 2017, but it only vests if he has 550 PAs and passes a physical. So we're off the hook from his contract almost certainly after next year and have more money freed up for 2017.
Bowman has reason to believe CJ going to Indians.
