It's been close to 2 months on Sanchez, about 10 days for Touki. Who knows with the young guys; there's always a chance the organization just decided to shut them down early for some reason.

Sanchez and Toussaint are officially on the Rome DL. Touki seems to be having a good time on his Twitter account.
Also saw tweet that Tyrell Jenkins had strong side session recently.

Riley 2-4 with a 2B and a HR. Kid has some huge power.

Ruiz is 1-4 but with 3 more RBI. Man, great week for hitters in the system.

Already wondering where we start Riley next year I'm guessing Carolina, but I would like him to taste Double-A in 2016.

I'm a big Riley fan, and I don't think they will completely skip Low A ball with him. The Braves scouts felt he was the best power bat in the draft this past year, and not only has he been the best power bat from the 2015 draft, he may be the best power bat from both the 2015 and 2014 drafts. His biggest power competition may be another Mississippi product in Bobby Bradley.

Gonna be really fun watching Rome next year With Riley, Acuna, Yepez, Allard, Soroka, and hopefully Morales there.

My guess is the current Danville team is going to comprise about 3/4 of the Rome squad along with Allard and maybe a couple of holdovers to augment the pitching staff.

Yep. You're looking a lineup like
    C - Morales / Murphy (repeat?)
    1B - Yepez (18)
    2B - Dykstra
    SS - A. Salazar
    3B - Riley (18)
    OF - Ellison
    OF - Acuna (18)
    OF - Baez

    Pitching - Allard (18), Soroka (18)

Just unreal talent on that team next year.

Don't forget Herbert behind the plate if he's healthy. Don't know what to do with Tanner Murphy. Kind of a step backwards for him this season.

Eddie Perez spoke glowingly about him in spring training, but his bat has not come through. He hasn't shown enough pop to offset his lack of contact at this point. Yes, he has been the victim of a .230 BABIP, but a .110 ISO isn't enough for him at this point.

There were a lot of people high on Tanner just as much for his defense. I've watched that Rome team all year and he's just been....MEH. Not unlike any other catcher with potential but far from a sure thing. That being said, he needs to repeat Rome.

Additionally, got to see Sims against Biloxi. He's really not that different with regards to stuff, but one difference i've noted was that he didn't seem like he knew the inning was getting away from him. He didn't let any walks bother him and stayed even keel. Truly different. He still needs to develop that bulldog, but I see signs of it.

Also excited about Riley... I just want to be cautiously optimistic since its still only Rookie ball... still, he's at an advanced age for Danville and after his tough start to the season, he's just absolutely been on fire... currently working on a .347 average with a 1.026 OPS at Danville.... .427 BABIP but when you're hitting .347 you'd expect a high number.

Oh... and a nice little .248 ISO

And to think... we haven't even seen Pache or Cruz yet... I think those guys are going to be really fun to watch. And then if we get the Maitan kid plus a few other big ticket international signings next year... geez. Soroka, Allard, and Sims are starting to look like legit TOR prospects if they can stay healthy and keep progressing (and no... I'm not saying they will all be TOR starters... I'm saying they all have potential). And that's not even including the raw talent guys like Touki and Sanchez. Gant is starting to look like a real find and could make the Mets trade brilliant. And then you add prospects like Riley, Acuna, Yepez (who I am REALLY excited about), Wilson, Morales, etc... to the equation and we have some major potential. Its been a tough year and it may even be a tough one or two more years, but man this system is looking huge right now.

I assume Sobotka will repeat Rome as well, along with Ricardo Sanchez and possibly Touki to start the year depending on what his injury status is. The Rome Braves might be more fun to follow than the Atlanta version next year.

Pretty sure Sanchez was injured. Other guys might have innings limits or are being gotten ready for instructionals.
