I think it ended the only way it could though. I agree it was probably dragged out as well.
Was absolutely hooked when I first started watching it and then maybe it was the third season it began to get out of hand. RPGs and landmines was a little much. Overall it was a good series, but went on too long.

It is almost exactly like Hamlet.

Jax Teller is equally as bad and incompetent of a leader as Rick Grimes.

I would say so too. I couldn’t believe they dropped that line about a certain gangster in Chicago. I am so excited for season five!

unfortunatley season 5 is the last. Next season won’t be on until 2019

I agree. I liked the show although I was never a diehard. The whole Jax as Hamlet/Jesus was a really cheap throwaway and the whole Gemma bit was way over the top. Like niners, I think they could have condensed things and probably cut out two whole seasons and things would have been darn near perfect.

Almost finished with The Punisher - from what I’ve seen so far, I think it’s the best of the Marvel Netflix series released so far.

There is/was a prequel about the Mayans motorcycle club happening. The pilot was shot and then I read it was horrible and the whole show was being recast. That was over a year ago. I hope it airs this fall if it’s still happening.

That’s it. You ever buy a fire tv and out Kodi on it? It’s simple. You’ll get HD versions of British shows like McMafia and peaky blinders months before they get released on American cable or Netflix.

Working my way through The Wire right now and really enjoying it so far. Gonna give The Gifted a look after I’ve finished - has anyone watched that? I’m a big X-Men fan but like very few network dramas nowadays.

Loved The Wire, but I can't count the times I wanted to reach through the screen and strangle Jimmy McNulty.

Mindhunter is pretty good. It's very similar to the Masters of Sex show in that it's a fictional recreation of a big event in American cultural history, the creation and development of criminal profiling at the FBI. This was the beginning of studying serial killers already in jail in the hopes of learning how to stop them.

Enjoyed Mindhunters. Mrs. 50 and I are now watching the Norwegian series Occupied on Netflix. Interesting and timely.
