Well the order is quite important. And it seems like he left without the other 16 being made. Like wtf.

I mean there's a chance they could retcon it and say they had worked on them in the testing. I dunno. We'll find out.

That's horrible writing though which has been an issue with the show imo.

Agreed. HBO is generally fantastic with it's shows. Which is why I wished they had won the bidding war for the LOTR project instead of Amazon.

I finally watched Severance. Holy sheet that was good. I need season 2 ASAP. The Last of Us has been fantastic. The other show I’m really enjoying right now is Only Murders in the Building.

I actually like 1883 and 1923 more than Yellowstone. You watch them?

Watching the first season of 1883. The gal narrating it kinda turned me off

    Haven’t seen 1923.

Considering how grounded Taylor Sheridan’s movie screenplays are (looking at you Sicario), it’s unbelievable how melodramatic Yellowstone is.

With that said, I think it’s a fun watch. I grew up in rural Utah and this show does better than most at capturing cowboy culture.

I will give you that. The scenery and feel is very appropriate for the region. One of my favorite areas I frequent often for my photography. I’ve also just always thought that Kevin Costner is one of the worst actors out there.

HBO going for a Harry Potter tv series

Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. is close to a deal for a new online TV series based on Harry Potter, the best-selling young adult books, according to two people with knowledge of the matter.

Each season of the series will be based on one of JK Rowling’s seven books, said the people, who asked not to be identified since the deal hasn’t been announced, suggesting years of fresh fare from the popular stories.

The company is hoping the series can be one cornerstore of a new streaming strategy that will be announced next week by HBO’s parent, Warner Bros. That company’s chief executive officer, David Zaslav, and HBO chief Casey Bloys have worked to convince Rowling to produce a new series that will debut on HBO and online, but the deal hasn’t been completed.

The series would allow the writers to delve further into the world of Rowling’s books, many of which are longer than 500 pages. Warner Bros., part of the same media giant as HBO, previously turned each of the seven books into a hit movie, culminating in a two-part movie based on the final installment.

Harry Potter is boring and hollow. While you could make an epic show from the Lord of the Rings. With Harry Potter the films basically were all the worthwhile content from the books.

Warner trying to milk HP for money because they're desperate.

Loki season 2 is out. Great first episode. The best thing Marvel has going at the moment.
