If they do an HP series it needs to not be about Harry Potter. Rowling's talent was world building, not plot. The world is rich enough for good writers to play around in. That won't happen but it couldm

HBOMax finally released the remaining half season of Doom Patrol.

And it came to the final episode and it was a good one.

It was such a great show overall. A few degrees weird. But I like it.

Still makes we wild how much better Cyborg looked on this low budget show than in Justice League.

Taskmaster is probably my favorite show. I love UK panel shows in general but taskmaster is the best for me by a bunch. We got into Panel shows during the pandemic when we'd watch 8 out 10 Cats does Countdown, Big Fat Quiz of the (insert title) and something else that's not coming to my mind. Taskmaster was a later addition. And got it's brilliant. The last season has been one of the most chaotic ever.

Just finished 2 shows yesterday. Echo and Scott Pilgrim Takes off. SCTO was awesome. I loved it.

Echo was fine. I liked the visuals I liked the general arc.

Saw it. Though it was a great adaptation/story in the fallout franchise. Goggins killed it as usual.

Goggins was born to play that role.

Goggins is one of the best western actors out there. He's so good at that stare, at that swagger, everything. Justified, Hateful 8, etc.

I think Jonathan Nolan did a better job making a Western with Fallout than he did with Westworld

For sure. But he was clearly going super scifi with it. Second season will ultimately determine how much I like it. I liked the first season of Westworld much more than I liked Fallout, but I'll admit that I didn't really care for later seasons. Second season was still good for Westworld just a step down from the first IMO. 3rd was bad.

I think the problem with Westworld is a lot of casuals were tuned into season one because it was a western. When they veered away from that a lot of people quit watching

Season 2 still did quite well in the ratings.

BUt don't just blame it on casuals and westerns. Season 1 also saw the killing off of Anthony Hopkins's character who was amazing. Also wound up with a massive reduction in James Marsden's character, death of the plot twist that was Jimmy/Man in Black, etc. Season 1 was a twisty turny blast. Season 2 was a more straight up character driven scifi. Season 3 was fine. I never got around to watching season 4 because I've been doing other things I enjoy more. i'll probably go back to it all at some point. But right now it's not at the top of my list.
