There's a really good reminiscence of Yogi in Joe Garagiola's autobiography. He grew up in the same neighborhood as Yogi, and every time the neighborhood kids picked teams, regardless of the sport, "Larry" was always the first chosen, even though he was often the smallest kid out there.

3-time MVP, which a lot of people tend to forget about. Contact/Ball-in-Play guy. Struck out only 414 times in 8,359 career regular season plate appearances. Walked 704 times. In his entire career, he struck out more than he walked only twice (his last two seasons in part-time duty including his 9 ABs in 1965 with the Mets). All this while still hitting 358 HRs (short porch probably helped a bit). Classic throwback player in a lot of ways and a reminder of how the game has changed a lot.

I love Yogi. Even though he was old, this is shocking because it seemed like he was immortal. And, well, I guess he actually is. RIP.

Man, I think all fans can come together in mourning. Just sad to see him go. Yogi was absolutely one of the best ever. RIP Berra.

Apparently, those were directions to his house. And both sides of the fork did lead to his house. Not all forks diverge.

And every single day, because teammates were important to him, he would drive there, and he would play cards with Phil. And then when Phil would start to fall asleep, Yogi would hold his hand and when Phil would finally go to sleep, that’s when Yogi would leave. Every day. That’s what teammates meant to him."

This is the one that gets misquoted the most. First time I've ever read it worded like this.
Got it off a quote page, but have seen it expressed this way most often.
