Ok so let's do a run down of all the west teams minus the Giants and what we may want. The Dodgers could move Turner and others to us and move Seager back to short. Padres have some interesting pieces in Ross and possibly Kimbrel. Colorado has Arenado. Not sure what the Dbacks have

I'd want Puig and Barnes/one of there too pitching prospects like De Leon from the Dodgers.

The Diamondbacks don't have enough to entice me.

The Padres have Hunter Renfro and Ross and not much else I want. Love Kimbrel, don't want to trade back for him in our current state.

Keep in mind, top priority this winter was bullpen so I would expect to see arms in the form of bullpen then rotation...

So if it is San Diego you have Kimbrel Benoit Ross shields, etc...

Love Kimbrel, but would NOT trade Simmons for him. As has been said numerous times on here, this team can't afford to pay that kind of jack to a closer, especially when there are inexpensive internal options that are at least worthy of a shot.

It has to be Colorado I would think. Arenado was unhappy after the Tulo trade, plus they have McMahon in waiting. Reyes just got popped for domestic violence, so he may be on the way out.

If this has legs, it probably means the brass is fully behind Albies and his ability at this point .

Just don't see Simmons being the piece moving. Teheran? Seems to defeat the purpose for the rotation...guess we will see. Nothing will surprise me.

Colorado said to be looking for pitching and SS is that right? Would you give Simmons and Teheran or Simmons and Miller for that package...of course those being the main players then the prospects/cash end of the deal

    This deserves it's own thread.

Love Tron's defense. I wouldn't mind him hitting 8th forever if it meant he was the best or 2nd best defensive player every year by all measures.

    Hate to see this happen.
