    Andruw may retire

According to MLBTradeRumors, he may be ready to hang up the spikes after generating little interest as a FA. The article also points out that he's Hall-eligible in 2018, the same year as Chipper. What do you guys think of his chances? It would be awesome to see them go in together. 10 Gold Gloves and 434 HRs and a title, plus he really should've won the MVP in '05. Thoughts? HOF or HOVG?

The raves of those who played against him might give him a bump. No way he should suffer the same fate as Edmonds. He was also the best I ever saw.

If he had chipper's (or anyone's) good work habits, he'd still be in the MLB flirting with 600 homers. Instead, he's dined on sushii for the last few years.

Time to start organizing the 2018 caravan for Cooperstown - the only thing that would've been better for Braves' fans would've been having the Big Three go in together.

Still a big "if", but Andruw going in with Chipper seems like it would somehow be fitting and validate "The Run" as well as allowing many of us to point to the Hall as the deciding factor as to who the real "Team Of The 90s" was - 5 inductees (plus JS and Bobby) from that team.

Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

Would love to see him go in, not holding my breath though. Still, I think he'll have a decent chance before his 10 years is up.
