Baseball America organization rankings released; Braves #3

http://www.baseballamerica.com/minor...rankings-list/ According to this list, Baseball America has the Braves as the #3 organization in baseball talent-wise. We sit behind the Dodgers and Astros, and come in just ahead of the Red Sox and Nationals. We jumped from 29 last year to 3 this year; pretty substantial increase in talent.

    Seems about right to me.

Main thing that worries me is that a lot of teams that have great farm systems are already better than us. Nats are in the same ball park and are much better at the MLB level (talent wise), good thing something is off there.

Yeah, I would say three is more than accurate. Add Maitan and Gutierrez and it could change massively.

Top three are generally interchangeable. Usually depends on what you value. Pitching or hitting. Ceiling or low risk.

Personally, I think the Dodgers have just as good a claim to the top spot as us. Don't agree with the Astros being above us.

Once Seager graduates and we pick up out international and draft classes, we should easily pull past LA.

Urias (who's being rushed) is their main prospect behind Seager then it's dicey. DeLeon looks ok. I'd say the Red Sox are better than the Astros. Say we get Puk at 3. Putting Puk, Maitan, and Guttierez in our system makes it hands down #1.
