Master List of 2016 prospects (not including CHop Country)

Feeling a little like Rodney Dangerfield when we saw the new "composite" 2016 Braves prospect list that cited the following 11 prospect lists and NOT the Chop Country list:

Baseball America, Baseball Prospectus, ESPN (Keith Law), FanGraphs (Dan Farnsworth), MLB Pipeline, Minor League Baseball (John Sickels), Braves General Store, CBS Sports Atlanta (Grant McAuley), Chop County (Gondeee), Talking Chop, and the Talking Chop Community.

Olivera and Banuelos are not included, even though some lists included them. Talking Chop moved everyone up one in their place. Also, in determing the average, a player had to be on at least two lists. Top-ranked was one point, second was two, etc.

So those of you who dismiss our list, this is the essential list. Our list remains below for comparison's sake. But that thread is now closed since obviouslly our list has no value.

We'll add this much. Ventura has way more potential than 40th. Among those who didn't make the top 40 but should were Wes Parsons, Jonathan Morales, Steve Janas, Kyle Kinman, A.J. Minter.

    But what do we know?

And to think Hurst was a top 5 prospect of ours a year ago. Crazy.

Hursh is a prover in TINSTAAP. He was flying high after a really strong performance in AA and then shat the bed really hard. With another strong performance this year though he would be back in the top 10 of any list for next year if he doesn't go to the bigs and remove qualification.
