Why do you consistently insist on lying? WHy do you lack basic common sense? The areas hit most frequently by these types of diseases, wearing a mask is common place.

But, even beyond that, 10 seconds of googling, says that while cloth masks aren't highly effective, they're far superior to nothing. Ideally there would be enough N95 masks for everyone, but that ideal world doesn't exist. Cloth masks are effective as part of a regimen that can add extra protection to the general public, with things like washing your hands and cleaning your mask and more importantly, social distancing.

Mandating a mask and people doing it aren't the same thing. In many places jaywalking is illegal, how many times have you witnessed people walking across the street illegally?

You're confusing correlation and causation.
