I think everyone needs to read the article "The Obama Doctrine" from a few months ago in The Atlantic. Obama has kind of been all over the place in terms of foreign policy, but I think he understands the current nature of the beast better than those who want to boil everything down to a set of different bilateral confrontations in which it is "them v. us" in every case, even when the overlapping of the confrontations produces complications. I honestly had no idea what Aleppo was until this **** either. Anyone that is going to be president is going to get access to all kinds of intelligence briefings before he takes office. If you want perpetual war, Gary Johnson probably isnt the candidate for you though.
