Not at all. I think he elevates and legitimizes trolls, which is where I have some disagreements with his tactics.

Milo's audience are largely young people who dislike the social justice warrior movement and the video game thing. There was a big opening for a funny and articulate libertarian to mock and debate the excesses of social justice. That's his audience. The vast vast majority of his audience welcome any race, ethnicity or gender so long as they fight against social justice warrior crap.

I haven't heard him state that Taylor and Spencer's views on race separation is acceptable. I think he's written about their intellect and ability to articulate, and defended their write to free speech, which I would agree with (many liberals agree with me on that). Actually I think he just recently denounced those two.

That piece specifically name-checked Spencer, taylor's website, and numerous other outlets of racist trash as being the intellectual underpinning of the movement, but you don't think that amounts to elevating and legitimizing it? Yes, he elevated and legitimized non white nationalist anti-sjw trolls who identified as alt-right. These folks have been shunned by Spencer and are called the alt-light now. Only a portion of those who identified as alt-right were actual white separatists. These are the Spencer supporters. Every article that tries to define the alt-right name-checks Spencer.

Here's a quote he recently made where if you read between the lines you can clearly see that he is talking about Spencer and his followers:
