What scares you the most. That Trump will tank the economy or the economy booming while Trump is in office? Not meant to be a trick question. I think the economy is due for a boom and Trump will get the credit much like Bill Clinton did.

I don't think the economy will boom under him. America's biggest export, besides weapons, is its image and America's image takes a hit every time Trump opens his mouth. I know several people in education who already see declines in the number of foreign students wanting to go to the US. Foreign tourism is already less than it should be.

He was handed a pretty solid economy. If it booms too much, it will bust in about . . . 2019 (just kidding). Seriously, the big problem with the economy right now (and it's really not a problem with the macro-economy) is that home values have not returned to pre-recession levels in a number of regions (mostly rural) and those places voted for Trump. I don't know what Trump can do to cure that problem except to fuel inflation. If the economy starts to overheat, interest rates will go up. But this notion that the economy is totally in the pits just doesn't hold up. There are problems, but I don't see what the government can do without creating new problems.
