    DOB or Bowman (maybe both) said something about him still having back issues not long ago. It sounded like he won't be back this year.

    Now that I've had some time to think about it I can understand not wanting to start LaStella's arbitration clock with Uggla coming back soon. If Uggla was set to miss the rest of the season then they would have probably brought up LaStella.

    Let me assure you starting La Stella's arbitration clock has nothing to do with this decision. The last thing they are going to do right now is bring in a 2B with questionable defense. If your dont have any good options then you always go with the best defensive option. I would be fine letting Janish start till Uggla gets back, I like having elite defensive middle infielders.

    Minor League Deal, Ironically the Braves drafted Tyler in 2002 but he chose to go Ga. Tech instead.
