I have no idea. I thought Folty had a blood clot.

this says blood clots, but it mentions TOS as a possiblity. I know Josh Outman had surgery for it.

Foltynewicz had a blood clot, so this is different. Sounds extremely painful. Harvey has had some tough luck thus far in his career. Never good for baseball when a guy of his potential goes down.

I thought he had some syndrome that was the direct cause of the blood clots..

Julio with a really solid inning. Machado almost took him out, but Julio was solid.

Too bad this was the inning that Buck and Smoltz decided to discuss Tony Gwynn, so Julio got little pub or notice.

True, but he got the AL hitters out 1-2-3 during an inning when Gwynn's stats against Braves Hall of Fame pitchers were shown. This is a clear sign that another Braves Hall of Fame pitcher was on the mound as they showed these stats. When the Braves start dominating during the dynasty that has its own thread on here, he will be dominant a la Maddux during the last dynastic stretch. Then we'll all remember when the talking heads ignored Teheran while he was shutting down the AL........or he might get traded before the deadline.

Jesus Christ, how the hell do you take that pitch with two strikes in that situation?

Bummer part of this NL loss is it takes away a possible World Series Game 7 at Wrigley Field.

Since we have no stakes in this playoffs, would be cool to see a Wrigley-Fenway series.

It was fun with them talking about the 1994 All-Star game, as that was one of my favorites. Not mentioned was McGriff's clutch 2 run HR in the 9th to tie it. But sadly, another AL win, with the same formula they always seem to go with - beat up on the first two starters and hold em off. It was actually a very boring game.

I'm struggling to think of any real memorable moments since it started "counting." It was a hasty decision with no logic and is one of the great blemishes left by Bud Selig.

I was there in person for that one. Don't need to be reminded.

I was actually naive enough to think that cost us homefield advantage that year at the time, before remembering we were the Braves and weren't going to get there anyway.

Mac's two run bomb 5 or 6 years ago was pretty memorable. He won the AS MVP

It was not a homer. It was a 2 RBI double down the line at Anaheim.
