Yeah 49 was the previous high. Trout and Harper both got hits in their lat AB's the last two nights to extend it. Pretty crazy.

Actually I just checked it. Doesn't appear he has even used his mulligan, but on second thought I think that only applies from 10-20 maybe.

I heard something a couple years back about how they made a person's streak known to the public...ala an interview with them or something. If memory serves each time the streak has come to an end right after.
