I want to see Sims keep it up! If he keeps dominating like his last outing when do the Braves move him to AAA? Could he earn a promotion by May or will they be more conservative with his progress?

Agreed. If he ever gets his command down, he's going to fly through the minors.

I have a feeling Sims will be the prospect that makes a huge jump this year after his finish to '15.

My guess is we'll see some guys moving in and out of the big league rotation throughout the season and I wouldn't be surprised to see Sims debut with the big club and some juncture in 2016.

That *amn postponement for Rome is going to ruin the rotation for this weekend in Asheville!!!

    UGGGGH!!!
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

I am surprised Gant is starting as didn't he pitch out of the bullpen a few days ago and on back-to-back days as that?

He pitched an inning on the 6th, 8th and 9th. He got 2 days off, so I imagine the game he pitched on the 9th is equivalent to the throwing session starters do between starts.

    Holy crap, Soroka. 6 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB/5 K so far in game 2.

And Riley with his first A-ball HR. He's striking out too much so far, but he's also hitting like he did in rookie ball.

Was in Durham to watch Gant. He was lights out the first 3 innings, his offspeed pitches were NASTY, and his fastball sat 91-93 mostly. Then in the 4th his velocity dropped to 89-91, much less movement, and the Bulls starting tattooing the ball. I'm thinking he was pretty tired at that point. In other news, Blake Snell is ****ing legit.

Gant did pitch back-to-back out of the bullpen in the Majors a few days ago, so not surprised that he got tired after three innings tonight. Good to see he dominated before hand, I think he'll be very good once he gets stretched out and starting on regular rest again.

Kinda stupid not to rest him one more day. Braves do some weird things with pitchers. I remember Medlen getting called up after going five innings in the minors and Fredi using him on one day of rest.

My point exactly, I really don't trust them with pitchers anymore. KC has Minor looking good already but a year ago in Spring Training we let him throw a ton of pitches coming off injury (no one even payed attention). It's starting to be a track record IMO.
