Actually this one is on the Braves pitching, and you don't say this very often the bullpen. Kimbrel, Avilan, Downs and Carpenter were the only ones who didn't give up any runs. That being said you have to love the way this team is playing and fighting to the end and in the grand scheme of things, this loss means absolutely nothing, still up by 14 and a half.

The Braves pitching staff will be fine even with all the work tonight. They have 2 off days in the next 8 days. They've already said that Beachy was going to get push back but now he could take Medlen's start on Tuesday if they decide to do that. And the only relievers that went more than 1 inning were Varvaro and Avilan.

I agree. You can't expect good things to happen when your starter doesn't last 2 innings. Not what you want to see from your ace here at the end of August.

Yeah, my guess is only Varvaro and Avilan are not available tomorrow. Just have Teheran go 7 and turn it over to Walden and Kimbrel.

I agree, I still don't know why we set up our rotation for him to pitch on road after All-Star break. Now he's going to come back pitching on road again against the Cardinals? OK...

You should probably brace yourself. I think Desmond has loyalists.
