Touki is a mess. 5 runs and only three outs recorded so far.

Touki was awful. It's all there, but he has a lot of work.

Strong outing for Sims. 10 Ks in 5 2/3 IP. 3 BB, 2 H, and 1 HBP. Down 1-0 due to three-base error by Toscano in the first inning. Only downside is he threw 103 pitches and didn't get through 6.

Albies RBI triple, and then he scored on a wild pitch. 2-1 Mississippi.

Touki is still worth the risk. But everyone knows he's a big risk

Simms is good. I like the k numbers

Albies continues to hit despite being young. Klaw had a scouting article on Swanson and Davidson that was intersting

Gant got a little overhyped. But he still looks like he's tracking as a solid 4

Ruiz and Peterson are the guys for me.. Ruiz as a legit shot to be a an above avg 3b would be a game changer. Maybe Garcia hits and is less awful in lf than 3v

I'm telling ya - watch that Matos dude. Has the potential to move fast from what I saw Friday night.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

Did you get out to Sunday's game? Curious about Keller. An under-the-radar pick from last year's draft who had his moments in the GCL.

Ruiz has his numbers up to .331/.381/.500 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a triple on the year. He will not turn 22 years old till next month.

I was a little surprised they pushed him to AAA, but I hope he keeps it up.

Unfortunately no - couldn't get away from the office in time. Kinda glad considering Touki's implosion.

I did watch Keller pretty closely Friday night since he's a local kid, just didn't mention him in my report since he is one of the lesser names. Good in-game speed (not game-breaking), if I had to put a scouting grade on it I'd say 55+ - could've had a third hit that night when he almost legged one out (looked safe from where I was, but I'm obviously a homer). Good reads and reactions defensively, and his routes looked solid. His tool kit probably fits better in CF if we're hoping that left will eventually be one of the power-producing spots, but I don't see how he's ever going to get a chance there with Ender/Mallex/Acuna already in the system. Another one of those much more athletic types than we drafted during the Wren era. Didn't swing at more than a couple pitches he couldn't do anything with that I saw, but yesterday's bomb could well be attributed to McCormick Field - it really is a hitter's paradise.

His ceiling (at this point anyway) is probably as a 4th/5th OF that you wouldn't hesitate to play in CF if the need arose - possibly even for a couple weeks if someone went down.

I like Keller as an under the radar kind of guy. Let's see if his recent offensive surge is sustainable or not.

if he keeps this up in AAA do they send him down to AA to show he can hit there :)

Ruiz being the top 100 or top 150 guy we thought we were getting would be huge for this team.
