On what planet and in what way is Hillary Clinton even remotely conservative?

Balanced MSM take: On the one hand, Trump is a wildly unqualified racist demagogue. On the other, Clinton was sloppy with emails.

If you're going to vote for Trump because Clinton was reckless with email, you don't really understand the definition of "reckless."

So 57 has gone from "it's a non-issue" to "The other guy is worse"

It is a non issue- the proverbial tempest in a tea pot, faux outrage of the day and

I don't think it's a non-issue when one is clearly above the law.

But she is the epitome of corruption... so I'm not surprised

according to all of the investigations no law was broken

    let's move on

    ....

    as was the case in
    Travelgate
    Whitewater
    Rose Law Firm
    Vince Foster
    Benghazi.
    smuggling
    rigging elections
paying hush money to rape victums
    etc
    etc
    etc c

why not try to out smart her instead of dealing in any flimsy accusation?
What is Libertarian or (R) policy on Pre School Education
What is (L) or (R) policy of upgrading the electrical grid in the Rust Belt
What is (L) or (R) policy on the proliferation of war weapons in our cities

But I guess it is easier both intellectually and civilly to draw a Jokers face or critique her apparel - or dig through her closet.
    Both literally and metaphorically

    ....

Face it, your school of thought is out of ideas to move our society forward
    Pretty simple really

    "We the people ... "
I forget the rest of that sentence
can you help a brother out ?

I think the article gets to the main point of the over-classification of information by the US Government. The late Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., wrote a number of books on the Presidency and one of his pet peeves was the increasing classification of relatively innocuous information and he was writing in the Nixon era. Things have only gotten worse.

I'm voting for Hillary and I'll admit there is a double-standard at work here (not on the private server, but on the hounding of Snowden, Manning, and others).

You know the L philosophy on all of it.

Let the private sector or local governments handle it.

The libertarians want to grow our economy while staying out of your bedroom.

The libertarian ideas - fiscally conservative, socially liberal, and anti-interventionist foreign policy - are what mainstream Americans coincide with.

The libertarian has two 2-term former governors who were republicans in overwhelmingly blue states.

The libertarian ticket has had more success in government, and arguably, more success in business than the R or D tickets.

But... damn it. They have an (L) next to their name so they can't win!

And by sloppy with emails you mean she purposely tried to circumvent freedom of information requests. That's what the issue should really be about.

As much as I don't like Hillary this is just another gotcha game angle. Reality is all 3 candidates are criminals. Everyone here is a criminal. It is figuratively impossible to not be a criminal. People commit numerous felonies over their lifetime and don't even know it. Unfortunately unless you have a badge intent to follow the law or ignorance of one of te 40,000+ laws you don't get qualified immunity.

I **** you not less than a month ago I tried to argue intent to follow the law in a traffic ticket case. I turned into a school zone and by the time I had finished the turn I was pulled over. Said I was going 31 in a 20 zone. The sign was to my left facing the other direction and the next one was a half mile down the road. I think we all know how that went down. Also was nearly held in contempt of court because I kept calling it a tax instead of fine. It's not a tax but for some reason city and state officials talk about needing a new tax to replace traffic fine revenue when self driving cars takeover the roads.

    Lost in the shuffle ?

Has the "Benghazi" Commission made recommendations for diplomatic safety or embassy security ?

Will there be an overhaul of
    a) outdated IT practices /equipment / regulation throughout usgov
    b) classification practices

or has this just been one big political annoyance ?

    .....

Listened to a program a month or so ago telling me that a great bit of our classified documents and miscellaneous IT info is transferred and stored on 8" floppy discs !!
Thinking half of the posters here don't even know what a floppy disc is

I parked in front of a Thai restaurant last week for maybe the 5th time and never noticed parking meters in front. Was parked there no longer than it took to be seated when I saw someone circling my car. When I went to see what it was about it was the Meter Police giving me a ticket.
Not noticing something like a parking meter was sloppy on my part

Like you said, it happens to all of us. Working in public / government institution the regulations involving emails are both overbearing and inadequate . If that makes any sense

But is hard to fix it for a number of reasons.
First is we are living in an information world that moves faster than it did 20 minutes ago.
Secondly we are trying to govern this world with a 240 year old document designed to move deliberatly

Thirdly -- our people elected to deal with these problems are more interested in repealing a law instead of streamlining and improving
or investigating (knowingly: see Kevin McCarthy) non existent crimes for electoral purposes.

Curious Libertarian guy, how would a Libertarian legislature have dealt with
    a) ACA
    b) Benghazi

    ?

    .......

You fall back on "The Constitution" when convenient yet become impatient with "The Constitution" from discussion to discussion.
Not really sure your stance on "The Constitution"

You don't seem to have a grasp at all on the libertarian philosophy.

The constitution is meant to limit the power and scale of government.

Our current legislatures do the opposite.
