No, we don't. They are playing well now but that doesn't mean this would not have happened with Brook in the lineup, Worst case scenario is that they could have played different lineups depending on the teams they were playing.

So magically after 3 months they learned to play together? That seems like a really long time......Also, if your theory is correct then, there should have been a learning curve with the small lineup....which there wasn't. So yeah......

No, there isn't an additional learning curve. Its all about whta each players tendencies are and learning to adapt to that.

Small lineup = in playoffs, winning record
New faces = 3 months to adjust
New style, new roto = no time to adjust

Thunder really need to get rid of Westbrook. Guy just doesn't pass the ball.

Guy could average a triple double in a season with the way he is playing since the start of this year. He gets it now and gets whatever he wants on the basketball floor now.

Westbrook had the second fastest triple double since 1955.

Not sure how this team wins so often in spite of his ball hoggedness.

LOL. RW says that KD could have scored 70 if he played the 4th quarter last night. Interesting thought is that Miami was up by 19 going into the 4th quarter against the Bobcats and Lebron came out and played. Last year the Thunder starters rested 20 fourth quarters. They just do not believe in playing their regulars in a blowout.

    WHO CARES.
    Does this mean anything?
I'm sure LeBron gets plenty of rest.
The Sixers are among the worst defensive teams of all time, even before they traded guys away.
Just because Westbrook said he "could have scored 70" doesn't mean it's true, or that it means anything at all.
We get that Durant is extremely talented.

    Average a triple-double? Really?

I really don't think the faces you use mean what you think they mean.

Yes I believe RW could do that. He has become an excellent passer and has always been a tenacious rebounder which then allows KD to have his run outs and easy baskets. Sixers are all time bad for sure but other players get to play against that team as well and aren't putting up the second fastest triple double of all time. I really feel like you guys just haven't watched RW play much at all. He isn't what you guys think he is. Go look at some of the passes he made last night in transition and off the PnR. If CP3 makes those passes we are all in awe of his brilliance.

I just think its crazy that people went crazy for Lebrons 60+ point game when he played the fourth quarter in a blowout. KD sat 20 fourth quarters last year. I'd imgaine that he could have scored 70 on a couple of those occasions if he really cared about that. Apparently Lebron cares about scoring more points and cares about the attention that KD is getting. KD showed last night that he doesn't care about what Lebron is doing or what hte media says about him.

It just seems everything you say is based off homeristic assumptions as opposed to actual fact. Yeah, if KD didn't sit 20 4th Qs last year, he would have scored 70 a couple of times if he didn't. How many players have done that in history, and how many times? What about in the last 30 years? KD DOES care. He wants the MVP, and you're a fool if you think he doesn't. He said he's tired of being 2nd best, you don't think MVP means something to him?

Saying that KD could have scored 70 "a couple times" is stupid, doesn't mean much, or both.

Considering RW has never averaged double digit assists or rebounds, and has averaged double digit assists for two months out of his entire career (and never averaged double digit rebounds in any month), it is absolutely ridiculous to say he could "average a triple double" for a whole season. That is absurdly tough to do, and you have no reason to think that, other than blind homerism.

LeBron could probably average 40 a night if he wanted or had to.

I'm not saying that KD would have scored 70 I'm just saying he could have which means that he had a chance to do it. There was no definitive statement made in this situation.

RW's game has grown so much. He was not a true PG when he came into the league but has grown his game by leaps and bounds. He is the most dominant physical player on the floor in all games aside from when they play the Heat. There is no doubt in my mind that if he dedicated himself to focusing more on the team game that he could do it. RW had 8 assists and just two shot attempts in his first 6 minutes yesterday. He WANTS to be that player and I think he WANTS to show everyone that he doesn't need to score all the time.

And yes, I do believe that Lebron could score 40 a night.

RW will never average a triple-double in a season in his career.

Most likely not. Only one person in the history of basketball I believe ever did it. I do think he has the skillset to do it.

Just watch him play buddy and tell me he doesn't have that skillset.
