KD is shooting 40% from the field, 28% from 3

RW is shooting 34% from the field, 18% from 3

I love how if OKC loses everyone will say they weren't a 7 seed or it was a bad match-up......NO.....KD and RW just sucked.

No, that's not what I'm saying. Good heavens. I'm just saying that when the Heat have to play a tough team it's usually a good series and a real challenge for them. If the Heat were playing the Grizz they'd be in a real series. If the Thunder were playing the Bobcats they are at least up 3-1 and likely sweep it.

Quit being intentionally misleading about the Grizz. Everyone knows that they are playing like a top seed right now with Gasol back. They're one of the best teams in the NBA right now.

Becoming more clear the Heat win it all again. OKC is all but done and the Spurs if they make it back to the finals are gonna be exhausted. Nobody else will challenge them.

So no credit goes to the Grizz defense?

Also can't help but think KD spent too much energy too early in the regular season. He was really give a lot of good effort when RW was hurt.

With that said KD just has to step it up these next 2 games. We'll see what happens.

Their biggest challenge will be whatever beat up and bruised team limps out of the west.

In the West? Sure.....the West is ****ing loaded.....Is Dallas a typical 8 seed? It's the West, not the East. Point is, OKC probably should have swept the series or won in 5 but KD and RW have been pathetic to go along with one of the worst coaches in the NBA. I'm assuming if OKC won in 5, we wouldn't hear **** about "Memphis not being a real 7 seed"

Has nothing to with being in the West. Memphis dug a hole early in the season with Gasol hurt. They have been aruably the best team in the NBA since Gasol came back and you know this.

    I'd still say they weren't.

They are not your normal 7-seed.

Best PF-C combo in the league, best perimeter defender in the NBA, most underrated PG in the game along with some good role players.

They have the best record in the NBA or West since Gasol has been back, or top 2-3. They are a very good team and not your normal 7-seed. Yes, the West is loaded but thats besides the point.

They win 60+ in the East like most West teams.

You said OKC was the best team in the NBA, right? So they should make it out of round one, no?

If KD and RW were remotely close to shooting well, would this series still be going?

And I've said that if they even made a handful of baskets they normally make the game was over. But, against most other teams that doesn't matter. Memphis is a damn good team and match up well with OKC because Brooks is stupid and won't go small. We were down 20 last night and then he goes small and we go on a 27-6 run.

Can't wait till he is gone.

KD looks tired to me. I think he spent way too much energy early in the season when RW was out. Thunder should've just settled for a lower seed. Seeding in this stacked west is virtually meaningless.

More bad coaching by the Thunder. For some reason he pushed the vets and KD and didn't let the kids grow. Adams/Lamb showed signs this year many times. They are young players and are going to go through their struggles but Brooks wouldn't play them after they went into a lull. Now the rotation is shorter than it should have been and KD is tired. Brooks is the problem with the team. Not KD...Not RW...Not Presit

Partially but they are somewhat flawed.

But not resting KD was probably dumb, as weso said, seeding in the West isnt much of an advantage.

Although assuming they lose this series i dont see how you keep Brooks and i've supported him more than most.

Big difference in 2 regular season games and a playoff series.

Would they make 3 straight Finals playing in the West with all the good teams there, highly unlikely.
