I miss James Harden. Its a shame that this team couldn't have been moved to a bigger market with an owner willing to take a loss for a couple of years. What a player. I knew it from the first time I saw him play that he would be this good.

Were you a Sonic fan? Just out of curiosity.

The late 90's Sonics are one of my favorite teams of all time.

I'm 31 years old. I started getting into sports in the early 90's. I picked all teams that were doing really well so if you know my allegiances it makes sense.

I LOVED the Sonics. I can't begin to tell you how many times I was Gary Payton in my backyard shooting a game winner dropping triple doubles.

The team started to wear down in the late 90s as Kemp ate himself out of hte league. When they had a young Kemp/Payton/Nate/Hawkins/Snow to go along with Perkins/Schrempf...damn that team was fun.

Detlef Schrempf... What a classic. The Dirk before the Dirk.

Jazz and Sonics had some great battles back in those days. Too bad Michael Jordan couldn't hit a curveball or both of our teams would have won some titles.

I'm a Pistons fan, and I hated the Bulls of that era, but man did I enjoy watching the Sonics and the Suns during that era. Also wanted Malone and Stockton to get one, 2 all time greats that stayed at one place for a long long time which you don't see anymore. They were loyal and deserved it.

But those Sonic teams and the KJ Barkley Sun teams made for some great viewing.

NBA on NBC was also great.

James Harden was incredible tonight, as was Curry.

I'm really surprised by the quality of this series. I thought it would be a blow out.

Houston played really well the first 2 road games and has nothing to show for it.

Guess they just gotta take care of business the next 2 at home games and roll from there, but beating GS 4 out of 5 is tough.

Harden has been amazing these first 2 games since you think i hate him and never give him any credit.

Well they won 2 playoff series, not being a dick but you gotta have some quality depth to make it this far and even give GS some trouble the first 2 games.

Oh so you can't hate on someone when they drop an *almost* triple double on 60% shooting? Cool, good to know.
The Atlanta Braves signed Nick Markakis for 4/45 - Never forget 12/3/2014

Can't believe the Rockets didn't a call a timeout once Harden passed it back to Howard.

What awful awareness on everyones part.

Eh, I can see both sides....I wouldn't want to give the best defensive team in the NBA a chance to set their D. Better off just running and going, Klay and Curry just made a great play and trapped Harden. Would've been nice if Ariza was trailing and not Dwight, though.

On the transition opportunity it was the right move to not call timeout but as soon as they did trap him and Harden picked up his dribble the timeout should have been called. Especially when the pass went back to Howard.

Harden is one of the top 5 offensive players in basketball. I don't care if they are against hte mid 90's bulls I would like my teams chances of getting a bucket to win the game. Just terrible coaching and player awareness.

No, when he doesnt shoot 20+ FT's flopping his way to the line, while shooting 7-23 or something like that, yeah.

I didnt see the game but i would have called a TO.

GS is a good defensive team but hardly the 90's Bulls.

    Hindsights always 20-20 tho

Didn't see any of the game, but it sounded like Curry and Harden just going back and forth again. Good entertaining stuff. Just how the league wants it. If only the Hawks had a star the league would like them too.
