IM not gonna blame LeBron for last year or 07 but i can never get that 11 series out of my head.

To your point, if LeBron pulled this off, he'd be back in the MJ conversation again, would be some feat.

I think SA beats them if they got past LA, but thats a whole nother story.

Not sure if OKC beats them but with Russ/KD healthy, you got a chance.

It would probably be more impressive than anything MJ did, doesnt make him better than MJ though.

    No.

They could use his ball-handling, scoring, where LeBron could actually have a rest for longer than 2-3 minutes the entire game.

Obviously much better defensively but they could use him and Love, the verstality they'd have with those two would be insane.

PRetty much echoing everything I've said.

"Griffin insists the Cavs want Love back, and Cleveland walloped opponents by 15 points per 100 possessions when Love, LeBron, and Thompson shared the floor, per NBA.com."

I think Love goes to Boston.
Love is best to stay in Cle, but if it comes down to Love or Thompson, thats tough.

Thompson gives them so many more extra possessions and is the best offensive rebounder in the league but he cant really score other than close shots, and isnt a very good FT shooter either.

Love spreads the floor and gives LeBron room to attack inside.

    I think i'd take Love.

mentioning LeBron's FG% is just dumb, and you must not watch the games.
no one could do with this team what he's doing. no one.

I wonder if that would be the same narrative if the Warriors would start making the shots they've been making all season long.

It's not like Cleveland's offense has been good in this series.

it hasn't been at all. they have one reliable player on offense.

Who has played great mind you. I don't think anyone can expect anyone to have played better than this.

But it sorta reminds me of Russ from the regular season. Lotta shots, lotta points, and a lotta misses.

Except this is playoffs, all against Golden State, and he pretty much has to do this to win (as well as play excellent defense, which takes a toll on his offense).
    Yeah, I don't believe his FG% matters a bit.

My whole point is that the narrative is different if the Warriors win game 2 in overtime. You are probably right, but I'm speaking strictly on narratives.

That wouldn't make that hypothetical narrative correct.

Yeah he has no help though. Mozzy has been fine this series. The dirty player poured in like 18 in game 3. James Jones making shots. None of this matters because Lebron has nobody to help him.

Ok. You said the narrative would be different if they lost (which they didn't). I agree. The national narrative would be different. My narrative would not. He has to do what he has to do. What exactly is your point here?

Hes one half step above Heyward and Niners so you are wasting your time. It's not like he has ever provided anything intelligent.

Typically players with low FG% that lose aren't looked upon that well. Especially when he made 4 of his last 23 shots in game 2. He was pretty lucky that Steph Curry had his worst game as a professional that same game.

Sure, but he still had a good game, and is always a force on the defensive end. I'm positive he would've received a lot of flack if they lost that game, possibly some of it deserved. He's still the biggest reason they had a shot to win (along with Delly's defense and Curry having a bad game - just like LeBron did from a FG% standpoint). I'm not trying to say he shot the ball particularly well.

From the game I watched I don't think LeBron was the reason they won. Steph Curry was the reason they won.
