SoI completely missed this but there are rumors that Embiid healing isn't going well and might miss the 2016 season. That a death blow to the Sixers rebuilding plans. Wow.

As currently constructed yes they would have been. However, if Embiid was what many thought he would be and they determined that Noel and Embiid couldn't play together you bet your ass they woul dhave gotten quite the haul for Noel.
