That's terrifying.

There are only two teams in the Western Conference that I don't see having a chance to be good in the next 5 years - Denver and Sacramento. We need to get rid of conferences.

No one that can shoot, they can keep adding all these crazy athletic guys but at some point they need to find a knock down shooter to kick it out too.

Exxum certainly has higher upside, he was just so terrible last year.

I think people underestimate Porter because of his hip injury that set him back months and Wittmans unwillingness to let him grow (until the playoffs) Either way, the Wiz being close or better than the Jazz is more about Wall/Beal

I think Gobert is just as valuable as Wall or at least a compelling argument could be made.

Thats a good point. Unless Towns extends his range to the 3 point line (supposedly he was raining threes in his workouts) then they are going to have spacing issues. They will need to run after both makes and misses to consistently score.

Players don't make that big of jump in the NBA. I honestly can't think of one. It's usually gradual improvement. Minnesota will be improved but I think they have a couple years of development ahead of them.

Normal players don't but superstars do and I think Wiggins is going to be that. James was obviously that good early on. Durant was that good early on. I think Wiggins is on that superstar level.

I agree with pretty much all of that. I love Wall, so he alone makes any debate interesting.

On Exum, I don't see how anyone could have expected anything differently from him. He is essentially in the same position Porzingis is in this year. He was 18 years old with his only competitive experience coming against Australian high schoolers. I'm just glad the Jazz played him as much they did because he has a lot of things to work on with his offensive game.

Interesting Gobert tidbit, the Jazz hired a personal strength coach to work with Gobert on improving his posture this offseason and his standing reach went from 9'7" to 9'9".

Even if Towns becomes that guy, he's not THE guy you want doing that. You want him to have that ability to step out and do it but you don't want him camped out there like Klay.

No one will take Pek, they need to move Deing for a knock down shooter.

I'm not high on Minny, they have way too many holes and are lead by an idiot, I don't see them breaking through anytime soon.

OKC found one of the top 10 shooters in the league for 3 years 10M last offseason. You can find those guys for sure.

They don't need to find them now. They aren't ready to compete.

My point is that their core is incredible and in a couple of years they will be able to find a couple of players to add shooting.

The Thunder will reportedly meet with Enes Kanter in Chicago on July 1, and are set to offer him a 3-4 year deal that could reach maximum-level money with incentives.
