Obviously, he needs to win. I have never said otherwise. When I make my proclamations I assume he will win because he and RW are so damn good now that they just dominate teams by themselves.

In my mind, and I'm sure plenty will jump in on this, RW is a top 5 player right now no questions ask. To me, its not even a debate.

Looks like the Knicks could get Rondo with the young pieces they have. If I were the Knicks I would do anything it takes to get him. If he is healthy he is a dominant player. Pair him with Anthony and you have something there.

Uhh, what young talent or any for that matter could they possibly trade to get Rondo?

If Rondo makes it known he will only sign in NY or some other team, then other teams won't pay more to get a player who's going to walk. I honestly don't care what the Knicks do at this point

Personally, I don't believe pairing Anthony with anyone is a recipe for real success. He's not a smart, team player. He can't be a guy that's leaned on.

I agree 100% with you on the fact that he can't be leaned on. Melo is a #2 on a winning team. He can't be THE GUY. Rondo is going to be the best player on that team and it forces the ball out of Melo's hands which is what the Knicks need.

You either get a better player than Melo (Rondo) or you trade Melo. Thats what the Knicks need to do. This team currently constructed has no shot of getting out of the second round.

That's just stupid, they got out of the 2nd last year and it's the same team minus a few vets. Melo is having a fine year, rebounding is up but shooting percentage is down because of the PG play. The Knicks suck because they have no PG, lost Tyson for 2 months and JR has been horrid. If you put a league average PG on the Knicks they easily make the 2nd round.

    And god awful D

Season is not over but the first seed is going to be tough now. Just need Westbrook to be healthy come postseason time. It just gives the Thunder a chance to get Jackson/Lamb/Jones more experience. RW will be a given once this cleanup is over. They just need to give his knee time to heal the right way. He hasn't lose any athleticsm at all.

He was just as dynamic after two. These are small procedures.

Absolutely need to be concerned but there was absolutely nothing structurally wrong with his knee. This is a swelling issue and while you don't want any issues I'd much rather take the latter. Westbrook actually had a MRI before the Knick game and he played that game pain free. They just need to figure out the swelling issue. He has shown no decreased levels of athleticism.

It is upsetting though because Westbrook was playing his best ball and clearly establishing him self as a top 5 player.
