Russ proving you can't win anything with him on your team. Absolutely terrible 4th quarter. I have seen since the 8 minute mark and only 2 other players have attempted a shot besides him.

I know the Celtics are one of the weakest top seeds you'll see, but I'm still a little surprised to see this Bulls team heading back to Chicago up 2-0.

Yeah just watching the first two games you would think the seeds are reversed. I love seeing Boston and Alice Horford lose.

This year's Bulls, at least in the regular-season, were all over the map—playing down to terrible teams, up to good teams, and ultimately still looking overmatched against great teams—but Jimmy Butler is a top-ten player in the league; Wade's declining skills play up in the playoffs, where you don't have to worry about back-to-backs and quick turnarounds; and Rondo, flawed as he is, can still apparently play efficient, energized, and engaged basketball if he wants to and his career/season is on-the-line. And then they have a few role-players—Mirotic (who I had such high hopes for when he came into the league), Portis (who still might mature into a low-level impact player), and Zipser—who can really contribute substantially around the margins if they aren't totally embarrassing themselves (as Mirotic did in Game One).

But the real key to this series—and why the Bulls may just be a really bad matchup for the Celtics—is Robin Lopez. He's a great offensive rebounder going up against a team with pretty poor glass play, and his work—and the Bulls' overall team rebounding (they have excellent rebounding guards, as well) has killed Boston in both games.

If they pull this first-round series out, I could just as easily see Chicago looking like garbage against either Washington or Atlanta (but more likely the former) as reaching the ECF and facing the Cavaliers—they're just a fickle performer this year. And then—while that ECF matchup would have some neat story-lines—there's pretty much no way I see the Bulls making it any farther than a 4-1 series loss to Cleveland.

I wonder what's really wrong with Steve Kerr. Looks like he's hiding a serious illness.

Is there a coach more overrated in the NBA than Doc Rivers?

Guy lucked out with Pierce-Garnett-Allen-Rondo and only won one title with that group.

He's had elite young talent in LA and has done zilch with that roster.

He's has some rotten injury luck in LA, but he hasn't done anything to help.

Some of his lineups he played last night were wacky.

Very happy to see the Wizards and their roster filled of punks getting beat by Boston. I dislike all things Boston, but that first round series against Washington made me see their team in a different light. They showed what types of players the Wizards have. Wall is a complete joke. He's good, but is the biggest bitch of them all.

Totally agree—especially since Thibodeau was a huge part of the success he did have in Boston.

How is it possible that the NBA playoffs get worse each year? The east is a complete joke again. Would be nice if just once the league would call a game straight up when the Cavaliers are playing. They hoist up threes and somehow always have a big advantage at the free throw line.

The Jazz are nothing to sneeze at. Very good team that obviously isn't there yet, but the west has been Golden State's for a few years now. They have a big decision on Hayward though or I guess he has a big decision to make. Snyder is one of the better coaches in the league too. It's no coincidence that the Hawks downfall started after he left.

The more I see the Wizards play the more I grow to hate them. Wall has quickly moved up my list of most hated NBA players. Just STFU and play basketball. This is true of 90% of the league, but Wall's nonstop gestures and stare downs are over the top. Everyone in the league is all buddy buddy anyway. You aren't fooling anyone with this wannabe tough guy attitude.

The problem with the NBA is the lack of talent/consolidation of talent in the league. In the East you have whatever team Lebron is on and in the West you have 2-3 teams that are usually really good. The rest of the entire league is trash. The lack of parity is horrible and a real turnoff.

Parity is impossible to legislate in that league. There's a couple geese that lay golden eggs and if you don't have one, then you don't have much of a chance.

I will say that basketball, more so than baseball and football, is easier to appreciate sans winning a championship. Personally, I had more fun watching the Jazz play this year than the Falcons even though the Falcons were a first down away from winning a Super Bowl; and the Jazz from the minute the season started had a zero percent chance of beating the Warriors in the playoffs.

Miami ruined the league years ago and now it's par for the course.
