Right now the league is in an offensive renaissance but most of Bron's career wasn't that different than most of Jordan's. From 86-93 (Jordan's peak before his first retirment) the league was averaging between 101 and 109 PPG. for the first part of LeBron's career (04-12) only twice did the league average get over 100 and it just scraped by it. It's not until recently (18-19) that scoring got stupid good going over the 100 mark.
ALso Jordan was a better defender than LeBron but the gulf wasn't that amazing. The only reason he's better is because LeBron didn't put 100 into defending. Part of why he's able to play so well late in his career is knowing when it's advantageous to take plays off.
Shaq was impressive of a force but Shaq didn't ever really put up the numbers and couldn't score from the FT line. He only lead the league in scoring twice and never defensive, offensive or total rebounds. A legend for sure. But LeBron is so much more dominant. From 2011 to 2018 LeBron's teams were in the finals every year. People dog LeBron on titles. BUt he'd have at least 5 if not for Durant going to Golden State making them a super team.

LeBron for sure needed help. And when he didn't have it he was still making the NBA finals and the Conference Finals. Before Pippen Got tothe Bulls Jordan couldn't get over .500 and were bounced from the first round of the playoffs. When Jordan was gone they still won 55 games
Jordan is a legend, greatest of his generation and was the GOAT before LeBron (well him and Kareem would be the debate)

This is where you lack any understanding at all.
The East was historically bad when Lebron was making finals pre-heat days.
Lebron was also the GM of his teams and forced moves that crushed the long term prospects. Its not Jordans fault hte organization picked good players.

Right right right. It was LeBron who sent Kyrie packing it was LeBron He also certainly was so involved in not bringing in Talent to Cleveland his first go through.
Seriously where the **** do people come off with this. Sure LeBron was involved in the Big 3, and he was involved in getting AD coming to LA, but aside from that trade what other trades were made?

And Shaq won't get labeled the greatest ever obviously, but Prime Shaq was literally unstoppable. You could have fed him 40 times a night and he would averaged 50+ points easily. There was simply no way to guard him. Which is why the only defense against became hack-a-shaq.
It's 2024 and we're still trying to argue against Jordan being the goat?
90s featured the best basketball and baseball player to come along so far. It will change eventually but not yet.

Hell, Jokic might end up surpassing Lebron in the top 3 this pace. He's probably gonna win his 3rd MVP this year. And there's a good chance Denver repeats as champs.
