Erick Aybar placed on Trade Waivers, Any Takers?

The Angels just placed Aybar on revocable trade waivers today. You wonder if the Braves would put in a claim for him. He would be an ideal replacement for the Pena role, switch hitter and can play 2B, SS, and 3B.

I think he'd be a pretty damn solid waiver-acquisition, but I'm not sure he'll fall to Atlanta.

I'd be interested, but I don't see him falling to us. One of our rivals will block us if he gets past the AL teams.

Angels would have to take on quite a bit of money for us to consider this. Almost guarantee he falls to us, but I don't see a deal happening.

Nah, Cardinals for one already showed interest in him. But they didn't want to give up a top prospect to get him.
