hard to believe with all the pitching talent, this is our line up. I like Barker and Beech, but they are not very highly touted... so maybe more of a 'go offense' kind of day.

Just think of it this way, if not for all the trades this is what it would have looked like most days.

Beech pitched really well until sidelined last season. He's a sleeper.

Beat me to it. We forget that there are guys that struggled/didn't adjust/etc... Last year that will step forward just like the highly touted guys have and become something

Carolina is down 6-0 after 2.

Clark is getting hit hard. Even the outs are rockets right to players.

Curcio (CF) is real good defensively. Has quick hands at the plate also.

Thought really hard about trying to make it tonight (got to see him once last year), but decided to get the yard and housework done today so I could watch the big club tonight since I missed the win last night - planning to head to the office EARLY in the AM so I can hopefully make it for tomorrow's game. Guessing Touki will go.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

I think it has just fallen to the No. 5 starters today. Just about every team is on the same (minor league) game pace.

Morales is a hitting machine, 2-3 already again today with a double and 2 RBI's. He's up to .444 average now.

The long term question with Morales is whether he will be able to stay behind the plate.

Nice night for our CB pick up.. So when is anyone going to mention the elephant in the room.. Boni hitting .450+.. maybe he is due for another shot with the big club. Frenchy hasn't done much.

Swanson with 2 more hits. Can't wait to see him and Albies up the middle next year.

Ryan (Indy): If all of Atlanta's pitching prospects reach their full potential and stay healthy, what would their ideal rotation, and backend bullpen look like in 3 years?

Matt Eddy: Our spring feature on the Braves’ rebuild focused on Touki Toussaint, Aaron Blair, Sean Newcomb, Max Fried and Kolby Allard, but now Mike Soroka is one of the fastest-rising pitching prospects in the game. And that doesn’t account for the second wave of pitchers such as Lucas Sims, Manny Banuelos, Chris Ellis, Tyrell Jenkins and Ricardo Sanchez. You really have to like the potential of the top six listed — if they can stay healthy and if Toussaint and Newcomb can tame their wild streaks.
