Gant with another quality six innings tonight. Garcia hitting well over .300 and hitting a few homers of late. Fried with another rough game for Rome.

Thurman has some pedigree and was pitching pretty well as a starter for periods of last season, I wonder if trying to make him a reliever this year backfired a little bit.

Went 6 tonight and struck out 9 with 1 BB, that's very impressive.

Garcia homers in both games tonight, has three now and all recently. He can be very streaky with his power and hitting in general.

I'm wondering if they're having Fried work on something.

I'd like to have him in the role Francoeur seems to be currently filing. Give one of our starting outfielders a game off when a lefty is on the mound.

Makes sense given Garcia's history of hitting lefties best. Not like Frenchy is doing much or has a future here.

Withrow made two bad pitches in a row. Back to back homer's with a two run starting it. He was ok other than that. The Mudcats problem is no offense.
