Dillon Gee used to confound some pretty good Braves lineups. Plus, he broke Heyward's face, right?

I wasn't sure either but seemed to recall it being a lefty, Niese was only crappy Mets lefty I could recall so guessed it was him. :)

I was always harsh on Folty but I might have to end up eating my words.

Wow Perez got that ball to second fast. No wonder he's throwing out so many, that was impressive.

I really think a big reason won the World Series is having such a top notch catcher to go along with good to great defenders pretty much everywhere else too. Plus the balance of great speed and using it correctly and enough good contact and power overall too. Not to mention a great great bullpen and solid enough starting staff.

Foltynewicz looks better to me tonight than the last start. Fewer mistake pitches. Working at a good pace, and AJP is calling a solid game for my money.

Wish KJ were moved from second. Beckham and Castro should get most of the time there, with KJ at third.

    Whew, great catch Mallex!

I was surprised Orlando was able to square up anything after taking that heater off his wrist.

Through 5, Folty has thrown 48 of 64 pitches for strikes. Pretty nice work.

Another positive sign . . . Folty's pickoff move seems a lot better. Was real bad early last year at the MLB-level.
