I've noticed that as well. Hopefully it's just a slump and he just needs an off day.

The problem with giving him a day off is that means both Gosselin and Janish starts. We need to improve our depth soon if we want to finish with the best record and get home field in the playoffs.

The good news is that CJ has gotten off days lately (including last thursday and monday). We really needed the extra off days in the schedule too.

Well, he's not going to fix it while riding pine.

That said, his year has been mind-boggling. I can't think of a comparison for it. I'm sure there is one, but I don't know what it would be.

weren't you arguing yesterday that he needs to play every day? Because there certainly were a few of those here yesterday.

Nate McClouth? (BJ's the black Nate McClouth) Nate wasn't as good as long as BJ; but he was every bit as bad.

The most recent among centerfielders for us that comes to mind is McLouth. I mean a lot more was expected from him too. He was bad at the plate and awful in the field too. BJ thankfully hasn't been awful in the field like McLouth, but he's been even worse at the plate.

I honestly can't think of a contract worse than B.J's in recent memory. Well Pujols' is freakin awful but he still was producing(though not quite the same level in years past). BJ has done absolutely nothing for us. It's It seems like every time we sign a FA they end up having their worst years as a Brave.

At least we broke up a no-hitter. It's a shame Wood's gonna have to pitch a shut out.

We don't need to get swept by the Mets going into St. Louis. The Cardinals will be tough at home. I wouldn't expect any better than a split in St. Louis.

Did y'all notice that ball two to Niese was actually a strike? It seems the way Laird caught it cost Wood another strikeout there.

I just don't think we can beat the Mets this year. I mean for the most part the Mets have a team made up of AAAA guys with the exception of 4-5 players.

Laird has at least hit a bit, we need Joey T to get him in here.
