He's allowed to start a rehab assignment no sooner than 7/15. Until then, can only be at extended Spring Training.

Allard pitched for Danville tonight and did well. 4 IP, 2 ER, 4 H, 0 BB, 6 Ks.

I love seeing the high K number with no BBs.

He's really gotten lost in the shuffle. Was impressed with him when I saw him with Rome last season. We're still going to have PLENTY of pitching depth even if we keep Julio and use several arms to go get a bat or two.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

He has 10 SB on the year. I'll take an 18-20 SB pace.

this is what's most important to me, by far, for all of our guys in the minors right now. Whalen didn't have a great start but 6/1 k/bb is still nice.

I don't think he ended up at Shelton State right after high school, so he was probably a year older than most J2 kids the year he was drafted. He has also had some injury problems that have slowed him down.
