He needs to just focus on left field and with regular play he should get back on track again. It's not like he's been striking out a ton like some of the others.
It's a shame that the oblique injury cost Gattis so much time this year. We haven't really had the chance to see if he can get comfortable and make adjustments. I'd like to see him out there for that reason alone.

Freddie with a nice play. A little too much solid contact off Medlen this inning for my liking

I can't think of a team who has had worse injuries than the Braves. The Yankees definitely come close, but I think our bullpen puts us over the top.

KC is up 6-0 early on the Nats, that's good news.

That will happen when you pitch to contact and are in the strike zone as much as him.

Cardinals announcers are just brutal to listen to, btw. They were just discussing the idea of Wainwright missing out on golf outings with Maddux and Glavine because of his trade, completely ignorant of the fact that both were long gone from the Braves prior to Wainwrights big league debut with the Cardinals

Cardinals should be in the conversation as well. Motte, Carpenter, Furcal, and Jaime Garcia all out for the year

Freeman could've walked that AB, he was too aggressive chasing. Oh well.

CJ not looking good tonight, but hopefully he turns it around later a la NYC.
