If true that's unfortunate, they are professionals and just have to deal with it. I know the circumstances were different but they played through Heyward being on the DL earlier this year, they just need to do it again, or else Jason won't be coming back for anything until 2014.

I know Teheran finished the 6th strong, but not sure about leaving him out here for all these pitches.

And he's paying for it in this inning.

This offense needs to feel completely embarrassed to these pitchers....piss poor run support as and lack of competitiveness.

We know some guys need to step it up with Heyward gone. B.J., Schafer, and Gattis better start doing so.

Playing at St. Louis was not exactly a great situation for us following Heyward's injury. They're pretty clearly a better team than we are when Heyward is on the DL and all their guys are healthy.
    thank you weso1!

Suddenly, there's not much to be excited about with this team. Heyward's injury sure deflated the team and fans. I honestly believe the Nats have a good chance of catching us now. The Braves are in a bad spot and I can see it lighting the "fire" under the Nats' butts to play better. Hope it doesn't happen, but unless Heyward can come back for the post season and pick up where he left off, do any of you see us making it past the first round?

Not no but hell no. I think we may be fighting to make the play-offs. This offense is terrible.
