Minter reminds me a bit of Billy Wagner. Both are small lefties with big fastballs. Wagner's fastball was better (his was one of the best in the history of the game) but I could see Minter having a better breaking pitch. I'm not saying Minter is going to have a Wanger like career but I see no reason Minter shouldn't be looked at as a potential top flight closer.
Is Neslony looking at a promotion to Carolina in the next few weeks?
What's the deal with Harrington? He was sent to Danville 12 days ago and signed a month ago and still nothing? Considering he was our 3rd round pick, I'm very interested in his progress.
Kyle Lewis has really been on fire lately in A- ball... I was all for our approach, but I have to admit if he becomes a flat out star, its going to hurt a bit.
I think its time to see what Anthony Concepcion can do at Rome

I was more excited about Neslony than quite a few players we drafted. Mainly because he was a college senior so we could get him late and cheap, but also because a look at his stat line and bio, he didn't really look like a usual college senior. He had a few really nice years in a major conference, and had a power uptick his senior year. Are there any good examples out there of college seniors who became big time MLB players?
Ventura's Stolen Bases
Almost disappointed about no SBs for Ventura since he got on base 4 times, but hard to actually be disappointed with him getting on base 4 times.
Newcomb bouncing back so far in a very Newcomb way. Throwing a lot of pitches, but 5 Ks and just 1 BB through 2 IP.
The M-Braves have made it interesting here in Mobile. 4-3 with 2 outs and Swanson at the bat as the possible go ahead run
Chopping With The Braves And Rolling With The Tide
