Never thought we'd get Moncada, hope they traded something useful but they have the prospects for him.
Owens/Devers would be a good return for SD.
But a little wary given Pomeranz pitches in a really friendly pitchers park.
Pomeranz has two more years of arbitration after 2016. Good young pitcher on the come-up, but durability issues. Pretty sure the Sox upper echelon prospects won't be in play (Moncada, Benintendi, Espinoza) unless there's a lot more involved.

I will be shocked if anyone of Devers' caliber is included in the deal. I can see Owens and another mid-level prospect for Pomeranz.
Wow, just saw Espinoza was in the trade. Yikes. Dombrowski too fast and loose with his young talent, IMO.

Espinoza is #15 on the BA midseason list just published. For 2.5 seasons of Drew Pomeranz? Hmm.
I dont think we would have gotten Moncada, but Benindenti, Devers or Ezpinosa+ would have been attainable if thats the cost for Pomeranz.
