Saw the highlight of Inciarte's sacrifice fly. Francoeur saw Hamilton catch the ball and momentarily imagined that he was Billy Hamilton and could scoot to second. Francoeur has that puppy dog playfulness about him, but the difference is most puppies are smarter than he is.

We are going to have a lot of options for the 12 pitching roster spots next year.

Did anyone see Alvarez pitch for the mets? What's he doing now to become dominant that he wasn't doing there? Kinda crazy we got this dude off the scrap pile. Really hope he can keep this up bc he looks to be a key arm going forward

They were saying on the broadcast last night that apparently every time he got called up for the Mets he was only throwing 90-91 and that his slider wasn't effective. The Mets were apparently very confused by this since he was hitting 94-95 in the minors and they couldn't figure out what changed when he got called up. So I'd guess the major change is him adding 4-5 MPH on his fastball and having a nasty slider.

Competition is always good. Plenty of trade bait as well as I'm sure teams will be scouting us pretty hard.

He didn't like New York at all.

Does anyone know that the Braves are winning 2-0 today in the most boring game ever played?
