That was fun.
That was probably the best thing I have seen on TV

So many call backs in this episode to seasons past.
I was slightly worried at the end of last season that Little Finger would find a way to pit Sansa and John against each other. But with the arrival of the other two Starks it seems obvious that there is no way that will happen. They are like a pack of wolves now and stronger than ever. Brann essentially knows everything and I can't wait for Little Finger to get outed as the mastermind behind almost everything bad that has happened.
The battle scene at the end was amazing and continues the pattern of Danny losing a little before she gets a big victory.
Not sure I'd say "masterpiece", but thoroughly enjoyable, and great acceleration in the final act (I was surprised the episode had already run ~50 minutes when the credits rolled). I did very much like the bait-and-switch—it was nice for the battle to just suddenly happen, as opposed to some of the other "battle" episodes in the series, where the fact of a forthcoming battle was known one or more episodes in advance.

So did Jamie die, or will he be saved? Was it Bronn I assume that did it? Any chance he is saved, and Tyrion takes him hostage?
Kinda will suck if he dies, and Cersei will never get Lady Olennas message
If you liked this I would suggest wearing your brown pants for episode 6.

Midway through the last season, I got the feeling that Danerys is pretty much as power mad as all the other would-be emperors/empresses. It's dressed up differently, but at base she's the same. I see her as a "communist" Lenin/Stalin versus a bunch of "fascist" Hitlers. I thought the look on Tyrion's face as the dragons were demolishing the Lannister army was telling. Perhaps it was sadness for his siblings' side or perhaps it was "what the f*ck did I sign up for?"
Speaking of the Lannister army, I don't know how many of you knew about this. I didn't until I saw the teaser line at mlb.com. Link: http://m.mlb.com/cutfour/2017/08/07/...attle-sequence
