Dont really know what we could give them.
They mostly need bats and we're thin there....

And that's why most people on this board think you're an idiot. The closest things to offensive help we have coming... and they guy who complains all the time about lack of offense would get rid of them for more pitching... you really do just complain to complain about whatever you can think of.

Pass. Why are we buying? We just started finally rebuilding.
The report now is that Sale cut up every jersey in the clubhouse... sounds like he may be a bit crazy... don't know if I want that kind of weird attitude on the team.
One would hope tonight's Sale incident will lower his cost.

I don't see us matching up without us trading hitters like Swanson and Albies. I think they might get something done with Texas if anyone since Texas is going for it and would love to have a rotation of Sale, Darvish, Hamels. Plus they seem willing to give up both Gallo and Profar and other solid prospects for him. Though I did hear today that the White Sox wants Gallo, Profar and Mazara plus and that Texas is balking on Mazara. Which makes sense as they cannot afford to trade Profar, Gallo and Mazara as Profar and Mazara are a big part of their offense right now. Maybe one but not both and even then they might need to add someone like Bruce in another deal to make it work without losing offense, etc.
MLBTR update covers what I was talking about: SATURDAY, 7:52pm: The Rangers are currently unwilling to trade Mazara for Sale, but they’re open to dealing Gallo, Profar and some of their pitching prospects, per Sullivan.

I've heard that Chris Sale's best pitch is his cutter.
Confession: Stole that joke from Twitter

First of all, he hasn't been near as good this year... his ERA (since you love that stat) is up and his K-rate is significantly down. He's still limiting walks, so that's good. But he has not been a top 3-5 pitcher this year. Plus, no its not a lock at all that our farm system has 3-5 major league hitters in it... that's why it would be stupid to trade either of the 2 most likely to fit the bill for pitching.
