Which recently traded Brave is your most missed?

By recent I mean since the reconstruction or retooling or whatever. There's a stable of players you can look at for this. Assume as well that they continue to stay Braves. Like Jason or Justin.

Who do you miss the most?

FOr me it's Kimbrel. Kimbrel was just plain fun to watch. DOn't get me wrong, we had to trade him because having a closer on a **** team is stupid. But he was just so fun to watch and for my money has one of the best fastballs in the game. He doesn't punch 104 like Chapman, but it moved so much and it moved seemingly differently. Low in the zone it held like a power sinker, on the high ones it was like a super tailing fastball. Still butthurt about Fredito not using him in a must win scenario because Fredi is a twat.

Toss up between Heyward and Simmons. Heyward was the player I just kept expecting to put it all together at the plate and challenge for MVPs every year, and the fact that he was as great as he was for us without even doing that made him a joy to watch. Simmons just made so many amazing plays that it sucks to not get to watch him make them for us any more.

JUp. I know he isn't having a good year and he's very streaky, but it sure was nice having a rh power bat around FF

Not sure if it qualifies but Martin Prado. Loved the way he went about his business. But if we are talking about since the tear down its between Simmons and Kimbrel

Simmons, still think we could have gotten more if we had waited longer but thats another story.

For me it is simple, Simmons, he is maybe the greatest defensive SS of all times, and we have seen what someone else in that position looks like. 2nd would be Kimbrel, just because he was fun to watch, I was never a Heyward fan so I could care less where he is playing.

Simmons, and it's not even close. He was such a true talent that we'll likely never see again defensively.

Jumped the gun moving him. With the premium being paid right now, he would have brought much more in return.

He looked finished. After Achilles injury he was barely hitting 90mph.

While I would go Heyward or Simmons I'm gonna mix it up and say Javier Vasquez.

We finally got him in a trade. He was Bobby's long sought after guy from when he was the ace of the Expos in early 2000s. He comes to us and has an amazing year and we trade him off. Always would have liked to have kept him.

    Andrelton
    Kimbrel
    Heywood

In that order. I would miss Heywood more if he was actually hitting. Looks more like we dodged a bullet. Heywood got us Miller and by extension the players we got for Miller. Much better outcome than the Francoeur fiasco. I was hyped on Heywood a whole year before we even drafted him. I am a sucker for good defense though. And as great as Heywood was at that Simmons was better and played a more important defensive position. I dont think the impact an elite defender at SS can have for young pitchers. Its easier to ask them to trust their defense and throw strikes when its Andrelton out there and not a statue of Edgar Renteria.

Takes some time to regain form and he has. It isn't like there was a pressing need to get him moved...
